Office Mailing Address (USPS) NON-STUDENT RESIDENT & STAFF USE ONLY:

P.O. Box 209128

New Haven, Connecticut 06520-9128

This address is for official college office correspondence only (do not send student mail to this address, student mail information provided below).

Student Mail

All students at Yale are required to use their post office box for receipt of their mail and packages. All Yale College student mail should be sent to their student PO Box at Yale Station (206 Elm Street, New Haven, CT 06511).  Visit the Student Mail and Shipping website for further details.

When ordering online from vendors that do not accept PO Box numbers, simply omit the “PO” and use “Box ______” instead. Remember to include the full zip code. This way, orders should arrive promptly, and any subsequent materials, such as invoices and catalogs, will be directed to your box without issue.

The correct format for your Yale address is:

Your name

PO Box _ _ _ _ _ _

New Haven, CT 06520- _ _ _ _

Remember: All USPS packages and mail must be addressed to your PO Box, not the Berkeley College street address!

Regular U.S. mail not including your Post Office Box number, or the Yale Station Street address may experience delivery delays, and sometimes, it may even be returned to the sender rather than delivered to Berkeley. To prevent this, do not use the street address of your residential college or dormitory for packages sent through U.S. mail.

The only student mail exceptions allowed to be sent to our residential college office address are government-related items like Voting ballots, Passports, Jury Duty notices, and Social Security Cards. You can address government mail as follows:

Berkley College

YOUR NAME

c/o Berkley College Office

205 Elm Street

PO BOX 208345

New Haven, CT  06520-8345

Students may not address their Priority/Certified mail to Campus Mail, 77 Broadway, nor their affiliated college. All Priority/Certified mail for students must be addressed to the student’s PO Box number, otherwise it will be returned to sender.

Student Packages

For information on the timing of your shipment and the correct method of packaging, consult your local delivery service office. It is advisable to send all your packages simultaneously to ensure shipment integrity and efficient delivery.

Student packages should be addressed in the following format:

YOUR NAME (Berkley College)

Barnes & Noble Student Package Center

77 Broadway, Lower Level

New Haven, CT 06511
