Sustainability Liason

Milo, BK student

Milo de Guillenchmidt is a junior in Berkeley College double majoring in Philosophy and Mathematics. Born and raised in London, Milo grew up raising awareness on the climate crisis within his local community, which culminated in a food waste reduction initiative for his high school. A dual French and British citizen, Milo serves as Head Delegate for MUNTY and plays on Yale’s Club Tennis and Soccer teams. You might also find him giving a tour at the Yale Center for British Art.

Within the gates of Berkeley, Milo works with our office to find effective ways of promoting a greener community and reducing our college’s waste stream. He has previously organised a clear-out fair in order to reduce move-out waste at the end of the year. Currently, Milo is working with Yale Hospitality to reduce our food waste stream in all phases of the food production process. If you would like to get involved, please email him at the following address: milo.deguillenchmidt@yale.edu
