Heng Sun

Heng Sun is a PhD student in Biomedical Engineering from Shanghai. Heng graduated from Vanderbilt University with a double major in Biomedical Engineering and Math and a minor in Computer Science. At Yale, Heng works on developing novel Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) systems that are more affordable, comfortable and accessible to all patients. Outside the lab, Heng is learning to throw and catch with Club Softball, hosting and playing tabletop roleplay games, and stepping on the East Rock mountain until it sinks into the ground. Please reach out to Heng if you’d like to talk about MRI, grad school, research, international student rant, or anything — in English, Chinese, Japanese, or French (French may require A LOT of backup).
