Héctor Hernández (BK ’19) is a fourth-year PhD student in Comparative Literature. At Yale, he majored in Philosophy and German Studies, then studied at the Freie Universität in Berlin. For his research, he is interested in problem-finding (but not solving!), that which is sometimes called “corruption,” and the occasional mountain. His pastimes include drinking tea, playing viola with the BCO, Latin American film, and drinking yerba mate. Though his Yale Ballroom days are long gone, he tries to keep up his tango, swing, and salsa skills up whenever possible.
