Garrett Wiese is a second-year Master of Architecture student at the Yale School of Architecture. Originally from Texas, he grew up all across the state before earning degrees in both Architecture and Civil Engineering from Texas Tech University. Before coming to Yale, Garrett worked for several years at an architecture firm in Dallas, where he continues to work remotely as a Senior Designer. With this, his interests lie in how architecture can reveal the hidden cultural, environmental, emotional, and perceptual forces that shape human experience. Outside of design studio, he enjoys producing music, taking photos, exploring New Haven’s parks, and enjoying great food and great company. Always happy to give a tour of Rudolph Hall or chat about anything, especially design, art, philosophy, or life at YSoA!
